Right in the middle of the waterfront park stands a clocktower. It is tall and red and loud when it signals the hour and half hour, but it is nice to be able to have fun down there without wondering what time it is! (Also a great photo opportunity down by the water too.)

What a lovely blue sky in the background. How tall is the clocktower? Being so tall I guess that is why it is loud...
I think the clocktower is between 30 and 40 feet tall. (I am guessing, but I think I'm close. :) )
It is nice place, hope you get to visit sometime!
i have never heard of a clock signalling the middle of the hour. must be fun.
gramma ann, if you'll look back to the July 12 post, you'll see the clock tower in a context that will help give an idea of its relative size.
