It's a Grand Old Flag

It is a colorful flag and the wind was blowing it just so. It is hanging from the porch of the Perry Hotel downtown, a great place to just sit back and relax. Alas, no view of the bay from this side, but a nice view of the park.

Little Traverse Bay Shoreline

I do love this view. From the playground seen in the right foreground, you can have a lovely view of the bay, and we're there quite a bit in the summer. The water is beautiful, but here it is quite rocky. The best beach on the bay is in the State Park that you can't quite see on the left side of the shoreline. There the beach is nice and sandy with lots of shallow water in which to swim. The State Park also has camping lots available for those who want to stay a while!!

Have you ever seen...

... a baseball park with such a great view? This field is located on the waterfront very close to the clocktower. It has a great view for the batters and the cheering section, a nice place to play, I would imagine!

PS. The batter hit a home run!
