Happy New Year! Today is a day to look back over the last 12 months and choose a picture that you think is the best. This is one of my favorites--who could not love a sunset?--and I love the softness of the pink and the color of the hazy evening. I remember this evening, it was quite chilly and cool. It was June and I had a sweater on, and wished I had taken a coat with me as well. Summer in the North! Enjoy your day and I hope your 2009 will be sunny and bright!

I have posted some ancient cottages today. Not where P & P was filmed at all, but you can let your imagination run wild all the same! lol.
I missed your 'Best of' photo but I think it's wonderful. Whe contrast between the lines of the light house, the sea and sun make a magnificent composition.
