Someone commented yesterday that the blue sky was saying goodbye as it was the end of summer, so I thought I would just elaborate on that theme a smidge. Labor Day weekend was the warmest weekend we had all summer, so it didn't really feel like the end, but the weather has cooled off so much now that it really does feel like it has said goodbye. Hope your summer was a great one!! :)

Christie, I think this photo's one of your best. You've achieved a pattern with the dark shore, then the lighter water and even lighter sky all nestled together in graduating curves. Beautifully done, nice photography.
It's hard to say goodbye to summer, but when you live in a climate with powerful winters you appreciate summer all the more!
Thanks! I feel like I'm really not ready for winter yet. I know it is coming, but I just want to sit out in the warm sun for a few more months!!
Oh well, maybe spring will come earlier next year. There's always hope.
