When Parking Lots Shrink

Yes, they do shrink in the late winter with all the snow piled into the corners. The roads and parking lots seem just huge when the snow melts and we get to use their whole area again.

Mural, Mural on the Wall...

Which is the fairest one of all? This mural is in the Clifton Hotel parking lot, named after a 3 story hotel that was once in this spot, but burned in the 1880's after a curtain got too close to a lamp. These new "shops" are lovely and beautifully painted, with window boxes and flowers that never stop blooming. (My kind of flowers!!) Enjoy!

In keeping with the Art theme...

...I'm showing you a local piece of art. It is actually in an alley behind Roast & Toast and McLean & Eakin. Just a mural for those of us lucky enough to know about this parking lot in the middle of the block! It is also a nice reminder of life in a small town.
