Mystery Solved!

Thanks, Jim for the guess on what these were. They are actually rose hips, the largest I have ever seen! Along the bike path, there are several areas where there are roses planted and the hips right now are just beautiful. I was just surprised at how large they really get.

Today we had a birthday party and this was what was chosen for the "cake". Except that it wasn't exactly cake. You'll have to guess what it is--(not that difficult, but fun!)

Mystery Solved!

The wait is over and the mystery is solved. It is a fir tree just before winter lit by a sunrise. It was a beautiful yellow color and so brilliant in the early morning sun. I hope you enjoyed trying to figure it out!
